Osborne Richardson are delighted to be partnering with our QLD State Government colleagues, once again, on key operational roles within this Biosecurity-focused department in Western Brisbane.
We are seeking several Community and Operational Liaison roles who will be working within an Aerial Treatment Team, with the roles based in Wacol but largely field-based across south east QLD on a daily basis. There may therefore be early starts and late finishes on a regular basis, and daily travel to treatment sites. All roles will start ASAP and run initially until July 2025 before expected extensions kick in to continue your role further thereafter.
The key duties in these roles will be as follows:
- Providing quality customer service to members of the local community who may be concerned of any impacts associated with aerial operations. This will include community liaison in a wider sense, plus responding to enquiries and accurate recording of details on relevant databases
- Providing operational and administrative support to ensure the timely delivery of aerial operations
- General administration duties, including basic inputting of data on internal IT systems
- Working autonomously, in both office and outdoor environments depending on operational requirements
With the above role outlined, it should be really clear that we are seeking candidates who thrive in roles where your outstanding communication and organisational skills are paramount to their success. In particular, the following key skills and experience will enhance your application greatly:
- Communication skills of the highest level, including the ability to sense your audience and change your communication style to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
- A strong ability to join an existing team and work seamlessly with a wide range of differing personalities
- Great time and task management skills, with the ability to ensure IT systems are utilised effectively to record all information.
- Experience working within, or practical knowledge of, aerial or aviation operation would be well thought of.
- A current drivers licence will be essential
If you are interested in hearing more about these roles or would like to discuss the opportunities in greater detail, please feel free to contact Owen Millar on 0414 706 *** or email ****@oraus.com.au.
Always happy to chat.
