The Community Care Services Administration Officer is a crucial support role for the Occupational Therapists at our Local Council. This position involves managing incoming referrals, triaging, making appointments, and offering general administrative assistance to the Allied Health team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming referrals and support the triaging process for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
Organise and manage consumer appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Allied Health team
Communicate effectively with consumers and/or their carers to coordinate support services
Monitor and process referrals via the My Aged Care (MAC) Service Provider portal
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and COVID-19 safe procedures
About You:
Proven experience in engaging with older, vulnerable people, and service consumers/providers
Background in Allied Health, Aged Care, Occupational Therapy, Medical and/or Community Health settings
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with the My Aged Care Service Provider portal highly regarded
Good time management and organisational skills, able to manage concurrent tasks effectively
Knowledge of the Aged Care Service system, including CHSP and Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS)
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
