Beaumont Care Independent Living are currently looking for casual care staff to join the Independent Living team supporting aged and disability participants in both SIL houses and the local community.
This is a true casual role, so shifts will be offered as they become available. We provide services 7 days a week, with shifts generally between 7am and 5pm, as well as non-active sleepover shifts in SIL houses.
About you:
We are looking for people who are kind and confident in supporting participants with a variety of needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NDIS Workers screening check and completion of the NDIS workers module prior to commencement
- Certificate III in community services/Individual Support, highly regarded, but not essential
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Certificate in medication assistance or willingness to obtain highly regarded, but not immediately essential
- Current open Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured car
- Computer literacy and smart phone
