  • Provide information and training sessions on Carer Friendly Businesses with prospective employers/organisations to achieve program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help build carer friendly workplaces.

Developed by Carers Queensland, the Your Caring Way (YCW)Program is a tri-state, federally funded pilot program. Funded since 2020and now until June 30th, 2025, we are very proud of the innovative vocationalservice that we provide which is designed to support unpaid carers to enter orre-enter the workforce by building their capability through vocationalcoaching, training and placement as well as community capacity by establishingpartnerships with local employers, community service providers and registeredtraining organisations. 

The Position

The Business & Community Development Officer(parental leave) brings together both the drive for business withthe passion for community outcomes to ensure our pilot program in Queenslandthrives! The opportunity of this role will allow you to bring your creative,inspiring, support planning experience to the Queensland community!   • Attractive remuneration package of CSW5.1 - $94,177.78 per annum + 11% Super + Accrued Days Off (ADO) each month available + transfer your long service leave via QLEAVE (if applicable).

What can you bring to this role?

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to engage and entice people to the service.
  • Superstar customer service skills + a proactive and growth mindset!

  • A high energy - self-starter attitude with your desire to go the extra mile!
