We are seeking a professional Marketing & Events professional to join an existing marketing team of two. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and creative individual who is passionate about marketing, event planning, and delivering exceptional experiences both internally and for their client base. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied and diverse events calendar from 3-day long conferences, through to intimate round table lunches and company-wide webinars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the organisations event portfolio.
- Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies, including conferences, seminars, and corporate events.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for marketing materials, social media platforms, and event promotions.
- Monitor and analyse marketing and event performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to support marketing and event objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to inform marketing and event strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in marketing and event coordination, preferably in financial or professional services.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and event management software.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools is a plus.
