The Community Engagement Advisor is a key role that is responsible for delivering Community Engagement activities across the Rural City of Wangaratta. This role is to assist Council to effectively engage, educate and enable a community voice by providing expert advice, support and guidance on the planning and delivery of engagement and communications activities. The position will assist in building connection and trust with community and maintain and strengthen Council’s relationship with a variety of stakeholders on the development of major initiatives and projects.

The position requires extensive experience in leading Community Engagement activity through best practice deliberative engagement principles. You will hold inherent skills in conveying clear, concise, and impactful messaging to a range of stakeholders and you will have a demonstrated experience working within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
