We are looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join the team, who has experience in developing and delivering engagement plans, working cross-functionally with the ability to produce high-quality communications and engagement content.
About the role
On a daily basis, you will:
- Develop and implement Community Engagement plans
- Develop high quality communications and promotional resources
- Manage Council's Community Engagement tools to conduct Community Engagement activities
- Collate and analyse engagement data and report back to internal and external stakeholders
About you
Along with a minimum 2 years of experience dealing directly with the community, the successful applicant will bring expertise in managing contentious community issues, strong time management and organisational skills along with effective communication techniques, and a keen attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Public Relations (or another relevant discipline), or another appropriate qualification combined with relevant communications and engagement experience.
- Completion of or working towards completion of IAP2 certificate in Community Engagement (or willingness to complete).

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $98,129 to $108,038 plus 11% superannuation.
