Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Liaison Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the strengthening of relationships between Job Pathways and external stakeholders, with a particular focus on Aboriginal organisations.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of community links with Aboriginal organisations, and provision of information and support on Job Pathways’ services, to facilitate strong partnerships which enhance community engagement.
- Supporting the facilitation of suitable consultative mechanisms and processes to provide a non-threatening environment for effective two-way communications between Job Pathway staff and the community.
- Attending relevant reference group meetings and provide feedback to Job Pathways on opportunities and concerns arising from meetings.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in a Community Liaison or advocacy role, preferably in a not-for-profit environment
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate, mentor and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
- Ability to support the planning, delivery and organisation of presentations for a diverse client group.
- Ability to support productive working relationships through building and sustaining positive relationships and providing prompt and professional service to internal and external clients.
