About the Organisation
The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) is a Catholic religious congregation founded by Fr Jules Chevalier in France in 1854. The Kensington Province consists of approximately 30 retired and semi-retired MSC Priests and Brothers living at the Sacred Heart Monastery in Sydney.
The Opportunity
The MSCs are seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the role of Health and Wellbeing Coordinator in a permanent part-time position - approximately 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day at the Monastery in Kensington, Sydney.

The Role
The primary purpose of the role is to respond to the nursing needs of the senior members of the community to maintain their health, independence and wellbeing. The role includes:
- Assisting members of the community to have choice and flexibility in their care and to advise and support their decision making.
- Supporting residents through the various transitions which would include enrolling and supporting with home care packages and providing care whether on or off-site.
- Developing a professional, supportive and trusting relationship with the retired and semi retired members of the community.
