Are you a highly skilled and experienced HR, Compliance and Governance manager seeking a rewarding opportunity in the healthcare recruitment industry?
SustainHealth Recruitment is currently seeking a detail orientated, dynamic and experience individual to become head of our Compliance, and Governance team. This is a unique role where you can make a significant impact on our organisation's risk management, compliance standards, and compliance strategies while contributing to the improvement of healthcare services across Australia.

Position Overview:
As our Compliance, Governance and Risk Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective risk management and compliance frameworks within our organisation. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and Governance in the healthcare recruitment industry.
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the organisation.
  2. Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legislation, including but not limited to privacy, employment, and healthcare regulations.
  3. Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective governance practices, including the development of policies, codes of conduct, and compliance training programs.
  5. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders across the organisation on risk and compliance matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
  6. Stay updated on emerging risk management practices and recommend enhancements to existing processes to strengthen the organisation 's risk posture.
  7. Directly manage our compliance team and support them day to day.
  8. Ensure our compliance team maintains 100% compliance status.
  9. Defining HR processes for on-hire and internal processes.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Healthcare compliance - risk management, compliance, or governance roles, preferably within the healthcare or recruitment industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards in Australia, including privacy, employment, and healthcare regulations.
  3. Experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, compliance programs, and Governance practices.
  4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks, as well as develop and execute risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of SustainHealth.
  6. Strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong knowledge on Healthcare compliance for Casual staffing.
  8. Relevant qualifications in risk management, compliance, governance, or a related field will be highly regarded.
