About the Role
The Compliance and Enforcement Branch of the is responsible for Compliance and enforcement activities across the energy market. The contractor will be positioned with the Compliance and Strategic Intelligence team. The Intel team's primary functions include assessing and triaging reports of potential non-compliance of the national energy obligations and using intelligence and data to identify compliance trends and emerging issues.
Reporting to a Senior Compliance Officer and/or Assistant Director, the role of the contractor will be to support the team's Compliance and intelligence functions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Contribute to the daily management of a busy internal compliance mailbox including responding to compliance enquiries.
- Supporting the team transition to record and intelligence keeping within Dynamics including migrating historical records and maintaining and updating current records.
- Supporting the team to assess and triage potential non-compliances.
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 13 week hourly rate contract at the APS5 level (with a view to extend). This position can be based in Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne
