The role is for a small, rapidly expanding mortgage broking business. As the business evolves the role may be elevated in line with business growth. Reporting directly to a respectful business owner who believes in work life balance. The role will focus primarily on the compliance aspects of loan files, preparing a report on possible loan file compliance breaches.
Qualifications & experience
- Knowledge of Australian mortgage broker regulations and compliance requirements will be a must for this role.
- Ideally you would have worked in a mortgage broker compliance role.
Tasks & responsibilities
- File audits and reviews
- Identify issues relating to sales, NCCP, BID, KYC and other regulatory requirements.
- Check documentation for accuracy, adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements, validation, and veracity of information.
- Report findings in comprehensive, templated review reports.
