The Role
The RTO Compliance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager ensuring the RTO meets their regulatory requirements with ASQA and State regulators. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the compliance calendar, ensuring policies, procedures, and associated documents are kept up to date with regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for ensuring with the Compliance Manager that the company meets the regulatory requirements for the GWO (Global Wind Organisation) audit requirements (there will be training for this).
This is a full-time office-based position in Maidstone, Victoria. This role is commencing in March 2024.
Accreditation and Registration Management:
- Liaise with accreditation bodies to meet program standards.
- Conduct internal audits, quality assurance audits, and marketing reviews.
- Implement rectification plans for non-compliance.
- Plan and complete annual activities, including strategy reviews and trainer qualifications.
Governance and Policy Development with the Guidance of the Compliance Manager:
- Develop, review, and maintain compliance documentation, including policies and procedures.
- Participate in weekly Operations Meetings, preparing summary reports and providing feedback on Compliance Team tasks and projects.
The Successful Candidate
Education:
Preferred, but not essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field.
- Diploma in Quality Auditing, Compliance Management, or a similar field.
- TAE40116 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar compliance role (essential).
- Experience in using Learning Management System (LMS) – Cloud Assess, Moodle, Blackboard, or similar.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suites.
