About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Compliance Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating internal and external auditing functions and requirements, policy and document management, and organisational compliance.
Full time opportunity.
Negotiated salary.
Flexibility to be based in Brisbane or Cairns with occasional travel to remote communities and out of QLD.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Collaborate to develop and coordinate the internal audit program and support external licensing requirements.
Support development and maintenance of contract and policy registers and other policies and procedures.
Support team members to manage low – medium compliance, risk and incident processes and reporting.

About You
Previous education, training or industry experience in compliance or human services will be essential.
Experience in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
Skills in developing risk and compliance registers, reporting templates and workflows on an online platform, including backend data and administration.
Foundation of corporate governance knowledge relevant to the organisation, including corporations’ law, charities and not-for-profit governance and child protection.
Other Requirements
Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
Current driver’s licence.
Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
