We are currently looking for a Compliance Manager to join the Senior Management team at Springvale Colliery and build a lucrative career in the mining industry.

Reporting to the Mine Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Management of site compliance, legislative and corporate requirements
- Internal monitoring, reviewing, auditing and updating of site safety management system
- Maintain compliance to site Document Control Guidelines
- Communicate statutory information to staff and contractors
- Ensure all changes are initiated and managed via identified change management procedures
- Coordinate correspondence, insurance risk reviews and surveys
- Manage Order 43 applications and audits
- Manage and report on high-risk activities and planned inspections
- Coordinate and prepare periodical operational reports
- Monitor contractor performance and safety
- Management of Environmental Management and Mining Approvals

Suitable candidates will have
- Experience in a similar role involving compliance auditing and safety system management
- RIIRIS601A - Establish and maintain the risk management system (formerly G3 or MNCG1003A) or equivalent risk management qualification
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Sound computer literacy skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Reliable work ethic and attendance record
- Working knowledge of Underground Mining processes will be advantageous
