What You’ll Do

As the EventsAir Payments (EAP) Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of administering and managing EAP’s processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring we deliver a process driven and efficient payment operations, along with maintaining key relationships across our team, customers and payment partners. Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer (CCO), your core responsibilities will include:

  • A strong understanding of payment technologies, compliance requirements, and a proven track record of successfully managing payment platforms. 
  • It is anticipated this will be a hands-on role initially, while strong administration and compliance processes are being established. Once that is completed the role will incorporate the opportunity to work upon more strategic elements. 

Payment Platform Oversight: 

  • Work with the EventsAir Executive Team and our partner to ensure EAP offering, is reliable, delivered securely, efficient to administer and compliant with industry standards. 
  • Develop strong relationships with our Payment Partner and leverage these relationships to deliver the platform efficiently and reliably. 
  • Ensure EAP is being managed in a compliant fashion, and responding to customer queries relating to payment. 

Own Payments within EAP: 

  • Supporting our Account Management and Account Executive teams who are responsible for promoting EAP to new and existing customers and contracting the same. 
  • Analyze payment processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements to the payment workflow, reducing friction and improving the customer experience. 
  • Liasing with Product and Development Teams as required to ensure the integration remains useful to our customers. 

Reporting and Performance: 

  • Develop and maintain regular reports on payment performance, transaction trends, and key metrics. 
  • Collaborate with Finance as necessary on individual deal pricing decisions and spreading knowledge of rates and charges within the EA team. 

Customer Support and Issue Resolution: 

  • Helping to manage onboarding efforts – identifying customers experiencing delays, solving these by working with stakeholders such as AMs, CS and Support and using that knowledge to optimize the process moving forward – identifying opportunities for training as required and making sure that is delivered through our training team 
  • Ensuring the Support Team are responding to EAP customer needs accurately and identify training opportunities as required 
  • Assist as necessary and build resources as necessary to resolve identified gaps 
  •  Ensure our Payment Service provider is delivering upon their specific elements of the service promises within agreed timeframes. 
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve payment-related challenges efficiently. 

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in a payments-related role, focusing on administering payment platforms and involvement in payment service provider engagement. 
  • Understanding of payment technologies, and compliance requirements. 
  • Excellent communication and process optimisation skills. 
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
