As our Compliance Officer, reporting to the Senior Compliance Specialist, you will assist the team in ensuring regulatory compliance and partner with departments to address any issues.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the opportunity to develop your compliance skillset across multiple areas.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Support the line manager in the implementation and maintenance of the compliance program and the achievement of corporate compliance strategies.
- Analyse compliance data to identify trends and determine appropriate action required to address areas of concern.
- Assist in the planning, development and delivery of training in relation to compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Ensure compliance with The Star Entertainment Group Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to regulatory work environments.
- Working knowledge of corporate compliance governance requirements..
- Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change.
About you:
You are a qualified risk and compliance professional with a demonstrated history of delivering at pace. You are well versed in industry knowledge and can effectively prioritise competing deadlines. You have excellent interpretation, critical analysis and research skills and a strong ability to influence stakeholders.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting the business with compliance queries and assessing whether the business is meeting regulatory obligations.
