Compliance Officer - Our compliance team is growing at The Star!
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in Brisbane with Demonstrated Incident and Breach Management Experience. If you have previous experience in corporate compliance and are ready for your career to grow, this could be the role for you!
Compliance officers are essential members of our team as you will support the business to ensure that the companies operations are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements. On a day-to-day you will be partnering with different business stakeholders to help influence and build awareness of compliance obligations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Analyse compliance data to identify trends and determine appropriate action required to address areas of concern
- Proactively identify compliance issues and facilitate value added solutions to various departments
- Create reports to identify trends and facilitate the implementation of compliance improvement across the business
- Respond quickly to requests for reporting and data insights

- Previous exposure to regulatory work environments is essential
- Demonstrated Incident and Breach Management Experience
- A tertiary qualification, Accreditation with the Australian Compliance Institute or equivalent experience is desirable
- Demonstrated ability in forming strong stakeholder relationships and driving change
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Previous experience in project management, analytical report writing and presentation is desirable
