WHS & Compliance Officers - overlooked and under-appreciated.
We’re preaching to the choir!
You know “compliance” and “safety” aren't just buzzwords – it's the seatbelt keeping everything running smoothly on the road.
But, we’ll get back to this.
Let's get a few things straight first;
Wellbeing programs, Learning and Development Opportunities, Income Protection…
Tick. Tick. Tick.
A hybrid role?
Shut the front door.
They offer flexibility for remote work, allowing for 1-2 days per week from home or from their Albury office.
So, what's the deal?
A WHS & Compliance Officer like yourself understands it's not just a job – it's knowing that every regulation followed means a safer workplace for everyone.
With their head office based 50 minutes from Albury, we are now looking for a WHS & Compliance Officer to join the fold.
As a WHS & Compliance Officer, you'll be at the forefront of cultivating a positive safety culture that resonates with the team's values and motivators.
They’re not just about ticking boxes here; they believe in tapping into what truly drives people—whether it's their loved ones, their passions, or their aspirations to keep everyone safe on the roads, around grain storage sites and beyond.
They aren’t fans of the old stick approach; instead, they are all about thinking outside the box to find creative ways to inspire and engage.
You’ll balance the safety aspects with all compliance matters within their transport operations, guaranteeing strict adherence to industry regulations and standards across processes, vehicles, drivers, and related activities.
You'll be assisting with crafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures, ensuring records are as tidy as can be, and staying on top of any regulatory changes.
We're looking for someone with top notch communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders from all walks of life.
Now, let's talk about requirements.
‘For the love of farming’ underpins this business, it’s what gets them out of bed every morning, so a connection or passion for agriculture is an absolute must!
You'll need an eagle eye for detail, a knack for understanding the transport industry and its regulations (especially NHVR), and hey, if you've got some previous experience in the compliance world, even better!
But it's not all serious business around here.
Whilst the team knows the importance of their roles, they also bring good banter around the office. So a sense of humour is most appreciated.
Alright, you know the drill.
