We are a new primary school in the Ripley Valley area. We have been operating since January 2023. We cater for all learners across Prep to year 6 and is initially planned in two stages of development to cater for just over 1200 students. An exciting opportunity for a Computer Assistant to join the team! In this role, you will undertake routine maintenance and repair of computing facilities in the school and provide support services for networking to enable wider access and reduce downtime of computing facilities in schools.

About Ripley Central State School:
Ripley Central State School (Prep to year 6) is located in the growing Ripley area and opened in Term 1, 2023 (on 23rd January).
We are planned in stages of development to cater for just over 1200 students. The school site is situated in an estate named Ripley Valley and will be located on Binnies Road. Role:
Permanent part-time Computer Assistant for 48 hours per fortnight + ADO across two days per week
This position will initially be permanent part time, two (6hr) days per week. During peak times, additional days may be rostered.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Our school motto, Passion & Purpose, will embody your daily work as you work to achieve excellence in computer maintenance, undertaking set up and security tasks to ensure our IT resources are well managed, highly utilised and in good order and repair. Attention to detail, pride in your work and a positive outlook are all key aspects to this role.
- The school will have a range of laptops, desktops, iPads, VR and gaming devices. This role will also involve updating our school website and SharePoint, supporting with the rollout of our school BYOD program, as well as other routine tasks to ensure effective digital communication platforms are up to date.
The Computer Assistant reports to the Deputy Principal.
