At TubeTech, where we pride ourselves on crafting metal masterpieces, our dedicated team of about 15 individuals at the Sydney Road factory combines skilled craftsmanship with advanced technology to produce high-quality components and structures that seamlessly blend beauty with functionality. Our comprehensive expertise spans the entire fabrication process, from initial design and drafting to final assembly and finishing. To support our rapid growth and meet the demands of our intricate production process, we are currently seeking a Computer Network and Systems Engineer. This expert will be crucial in managing and enhancing our expanding infrastructure, which relies on 15 computers equipped with specialized software for production drawings. They'll also facilitate smooth connectivity and collaboration among team members in the factory.
At present, we need a Computer Network & Systems Engineer to perform the following tasks:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, WIFI)
2. Configure and install software, HP servers, switches, routers and other network devices
3. Monitoring of network devices and their bandwidth utilization, configuring required alerts
4. Mentor team members on technical issues
5. Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication)
6. Maintain complete technical documentation
7. Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
8. Design the implementation, and configuration of Network and security devices as per business requirements
9. Implementation and deployment of large-scale complex setup of routing and switching considering efficiency and redundancy
10. Efficiently utilize network devices and bandwidth by overseeing service provider connectivity, configuring routing protocols, and strategically planning traffic flow. Additionally, manage and optimize the connectivity of network devices for optimal performance.
11. Conduct regular firmware and hardware upgrades for both Network and security components to ensure the continuous improvement and robustness of the system.
12. Optimize network efficiency by managing service provider connectivity, configuring routing protocols, and planning traffic flow to make the most of network devices and bandwidth.
13. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
14. Implement and uphold security, backup, and redundancy strategies to safeguard business data.
15. Administer the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of new and upgraded networks, software, database applications, and servers.
16. Develop network programming solutions to meet specific business needs and requirements.
17. Oversee the installation of operating systems, network or application software, and computer or network hardware.
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education : Bachelor Degree or Higher Degree in related field
Australian Experience : At least 5 + years of Australian Experience OR
Overseas Experience : At least 5+ years of Overseas Experience
Specialist : Computer Network & Systems Engineering
Work Rights : Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
