ASV EuroCar Parts is well known with its reputation in supplying new and used spareparts across variety of European makes and models with its presence in everymajor city in Australia as well as one in Auckland. As a result of its recentgrowth strategy and restructure in its IT Team, an opportunity has arisen foran individual to join our IT team.
Workingclosely with the management, all departments and branches, yourresponsibilities will involve but not limited to the following:
· Providing IT supportnationally to 100+ staff members
· Identify and analysebusiness processes and provide support to remote users
· Recommending improvementsto system functionality and behavior
· Assist users with technicalissues, troubleshooting, installation and configuration of hardware andsoftware
· Developing technicaloperating system specifications, describing the requirements for the functions,the data inputs, the data processing and the data outputs of the system
· Coordinating andparticipating in functional IT system testing and user acceptance testing, forall system changes or new software functionality
· Consultant to the businessprocess owner in reviewing the business case for a new system or enhancementsto a current system
· Testing deliveredapplications and insures they properly meet the requirements and solve thebusiness needs
· Responsible for theknowledge transfer of training and support resources by creating andmaintaining guidelines, training materials and documentation for businessprocess
· Administer and manage usersand permissions for company's ERP system (Momentum Pro), yard managementsystem (Pinnacle Pro), shared network drive and emails
· PABX / phone systemservicing and amendments to users and groups, and managing call data
· Monitor systems daily andverify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources,software, and Systems
Thesuccessful candidate will be a proactive, multi-tasking, self-motivated individual& also possess:
· At least a bachelor’sdegree in a related Information Technology field (such as computer science,data analysis, network engineering or computer systems) or equivalent
· Strong IT Support skills ina Microsoft Environment
· Experience with VMware,Firewalls and Mobile/Tablet (Apple/ Android) device support.
· Good technical skillssupporting Windows 7/10
· Experience with Office2003/2007/2010/365
· Experience managing ActiveDirectory services
· Exchange Server 2010administration skills
· Strong understanding andprior experience in resolving security and current malware issues
· Ability to assist in theimplementation and on-going support of a broad range of IT infrastructureprojects
· Effective written andverbal communication skills
· Flexibility to adapt tobusiness needs while enjoying fast paced environments with wide variety
· Excellent customer service,analytical & problem-solving skills
