Capri by Fraser Brisbane it the first of the Capri brand in Australia heralding the arrival of a new kind of residences. Centrally located, Capri by Fraser Brisbane will comprise of 239 rooms (Deluxe Suites, Club Deluxe Suites & one-bedroom Capri Suites), an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium and meeting room facilities.
The Role
Our small conference and events area requires a casual team member to coordinate our onsite requirements for clients. Some of your responsibilities will include -
- Set up and prepare rooms to client specification
- Follow schedule on Banquet Event Order
- Provide professional Food & Beverage service at all times
- Check all equipment (AV) and rooms for the days' operations
- Check and replenish all food & beverages stocks as per par requirements
- Liaise with kitchen team prior to and during event regarding service of food
- Interact and check in with clients during conferences to ensure their requirements are being met
- Post event pack up
About You
You will possess the following attributes:-
- Proven experience within a hotel conference and events department.
- The ability to multi-task and think fast on your feet.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability
- Ability to take initiative when working independently
- Basic understanding of conference AV set up
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable presentation and grooming.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Knowledge of WH&S & hygiene.
- Must hold Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
Our events are primarily weekdays - however we required full availability for scheduling to accommodate a variety of events.
