Position Overview: As a Construction Administrator, you will be required to assist the broad project team including the Project Coordinators, Estimator and Interior Designers from the conceptual stage and play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects during the course of the projects. You will be responsible for coordinating general administrative tasks, data entry, procurement, document control, facilitating communication between project stakeholders, and overseeing all project documentation management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry into Procore and Xero
- Assisting procurement with timely follow ups
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including job paperwork, contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in requesting quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for estimating team
- Monitor and record project expenses, invoices, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and site visits
- Support project managers with administrative tasks and project-related activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and support the team
- Familiar with Xero and Procore (not compulsory)
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in document management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively
