Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems
- Prepare construction schedules and monitor the construction process to ensure all work is completed within the timeframes
- Monitor subcontractor scope of works
- Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control
- Maintain control and responsibility for the security and operation of Company-owned equipment on the job site in conjunction with site staff
- Monitor the project construction schedule on a daily basis
- Effectively communicate and lead all on-site trades
- Relay to the project manager accurately any variations or site instructions requested or carried out for the construction project
- Ensure project construction activities are carried out in a safe manner
- Maintain accurate record management
- Ensure site cleaning and safety conditions
- All other directions and instructions asked of you by the Project Manager and Senior Management
To be successful you will have:
- Australian Driver’s License
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Personal solid presentation and communication skills
- Due to internal and external clients' needs, fluent English and Mandarin is a must
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Highly organized, planner and problem solver
- The drive & willingness to succeed in a cutthroat industry
- Professional computer literacy and be familiar with construction and project management software programs, i.e. Buildertrend, CRM
