Construction Manager - Solar Farm

Capstone Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading Developer & EPC who are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a large Solar Farm project in regional Victoria. 

This position is strategically timed, representing the company's first venture into the Australian market, following the successful completion of numerous renewable projects around the world. 

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site based Construction Manager will be responsible for the preliminary design and engineering of BOP works, as well as the management of the RFQ process. You will utilise your technical knowledge to supervise the detailed engineering of the BOP and to provide technical support during the Construction works.

General Duties shall include:

• Developing a strong safety culture on site
• Ensure the implementation of all relevant Construction and safety codes
• Maintaining Quality control on site design and delivery
• Management of project budget and minimisation of exposure / risk
• Daily operational management of site
• Overseeing site logistics
• Site establishment

Experience required:

• Previous experience as Construction Manager delivering Utility scale Solar Farms is a must!
• Extensive experience in the management of contract, safety, cost, time, and quality
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced skills in MS Suite
