Due to our current growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our delivery team for our major Wind Farm project based in regional NSW.
You will be responsible for delivering the project by overseeing and managing all construction activities, ensuring its completion safely, profitably, on time, and in line with contract and corporate objectives. The Construction Manager will work closely with and actively support the Project Manager and will be the senior site representative responsible for all construction activities.
As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:
- Drive all project deliverables with consideration for project budgets, programs and schedules.
- Manage all operational aspects of the project, including planning, methodologies development, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Lead and guide a cross functional project team to complete assigned projects in accordance with the contractual documentation, company standards and procedures, including supervising and scheduling project activities.
- Support the project controls functions in terms of reporting requirements and meeting deadlines and ensure activities are in accordance with the programme.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and manage financial resources effectively.
What do you bring?
In addition to the above, we require an individual with;
- Minimum 10 years + demonstrated experience in a leadership role, within the construction, roads, bulk earthworks, engineering, renewables or resource industries
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Renewables or equivalent
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence, challenge coach and bring out the best in people.
- Proven experience in managing construction processes by incorporating Safety, Quality, Environment, Lands and Cultural Heritage management.
- Able to work on a fly in/fly out basis and industry standard work cycle on a DIDO or FIFO 10:4 or 21:7 roster
