A new opportunity as Construction Project Manager has arisen within our passionate high-performance Melbourne-based Construction team.
About the role
Reporting to the State Construction Manager, you'll be empowered to lead the coordination of the critical path of the Construction Project life cycle. You'll drive project planning, scheduling, administration, resource allocation, delivery, cost management, quality, and safety.

You'll also
- Coordinate inputs of internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
- Monitor the progress of building and project activities
- Ensure activities are sequenced to pre-determined schedules
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with consultants and contractors
- Recommend design improvements, cost and time saving improvements
- Reinforce business requirements and standards to internal and external project stakeholders.
About you and your skills
Coming from a builder or in-house, you have a minimum of 5 years of Construction Project Management experience; working on medium to large construction or fit out projects ideally in retail, industrial or commercial.
Tertiary qualified in Construction / Project Management, you demonstrate strong cost and programme control experience with excellent attention to detail.
Core to your success will be your top-notch stakeholder engagement and influencing skills coupled with your ability to deliver solutions under pressure at pace.
You'll also have
- An understanding of agreements for development plans, building specifications and costs
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent report writing, budget management, and planning skills
- Effective time management skills.
