About the Role
Develop, recommend and implement quality assurance programme's to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements across the NSW/ACT Building projects. This position would suit a current Foreman/Supervisor looking to move into the quality space driving quality compliance across all NSW/ACT projects.
Responsibilities of the role include;
- Ensure that the project's conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements
- Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
- Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement
- Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality
- Provide technical quality expertise
- Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality
- Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a quality management role
- Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries
- Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems
