Axis Plumbing Group is currently engaged in the prestigious tier 1 John Hunter Hospital project. We are excited to welcome an on-site Construction Site Administrator/Project Management Cadet to our team, offering a flexible part-time to full-time position! This role presents a thrilling opportunity for individuals currently pursuing studies in the construction industry, providing unparalleled exposure to the field and its key stakeholders.
**Who Will You Be Working With:**
As a valued member, you will collaborate closely with the dynamic on-site John Hunter team, comprising seasoned professionals such as project managers, site managers, and our expert plumbing team. Your role will involve seamless coordination with our interstate branches, esteemed clients, suppliers, internal staff, and building representatives. Reporting to the regional Manager, you will also collaborate closely with an on-site administrator already contributing to our team's success.
**Responsibilities Include but not limited to:**
- Engaging with building services, civil, and construction trades for streamlined collaboration.
- Efficiently handling incoming calls and directing them as needed.
- Utilizing iPads for enhanced productivity.
- Managing construction industry document control portals (Aconex, OmTrak, Project Simpel, etc.) with precision.
- Ensuring accurate ITP/QA recording and timely uploads.
- Overseeing on-site accounting tasks.
- Spearheading budget management initiatives.
- Providing valuable assistance with process investigation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving pertaining to construction project matters.
**You’ll Need:**
- A genuine interest, relevant experience, or ongoing studies in the construction industry.
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday – Friday, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate your timetable.
