As a Construction Supervisor based in our Northern Gold Coast franchise, you'll be overseeing the construction of new family homes covering areas such as Beenleigh, Greenbank, Yarrabilba & Bahrs Scrub. Our office is based in Helensvale, where our Supervisors meet each Wednesday morning. Dive into a world of quality, timely delivery, safety, and unforgettable customer experiences. Be the G.J. ambassador on-site, collaborating with trades, suppliers, and customers, ensuring each build is a testament to our commitment to excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
- Champion Quality Builds: Coordinate and manage the construction of new family homes to the highest standards within budget and timeframes.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Safety First: Ensure all sites are safe and tidy, and workers adhere to safe practices.
- Efficient Scheduling: Maintain and update job schedules, confirming dates with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Problem Solver: Address issues with subcontractors and suppliers promptly, ensuring smooth progress.
- Financial Oversight: Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure homes are complete on handover to the customers' satisfaction.
Key Knowledge/Experience:
- Building Expertise: Experience as a Site Supervisor/Construction Supervisor, ideally with a background in carpentry.
- Industry Insight: Previous experience in residential new home construction.
- Organisation Skills: A structured individual capable of supervising multiple homes concurrently.
- Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to safe working practices.
- Autonomous Work: Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Communication Mastery: Great communication and relationship-building skills.
- Initiative Taker: Ability to problem-solve and take initiative on-site.
- Reliability: Honest and reliable colleague interested in a long-term career with us.
