Address Have a meaningful impact as a Consultant, Dispute Resolution – CTP Claims
YOUR ROLE
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of formal Compulsory Third Party (CTP) claims dispute process, including internal reviews relating to liability matters such as Threshold injury disputes, Whole Person Impairment (WPI), Treatment and Care, and Earning Capacity with potential to extend into external dispute matters referred to the Personal Injury Commission.
Your expertise as a Consultant, Dispute Resolution is to review disputes in a timely and quality manner, make recommendations that contribute to the overall success of CTP Claims, drive continuous improvement, and achieve the appropriate outcomes which will reinforce IAG’s reputation as a model litigant and enable a ‘one CTP’ approach to dispute management.
This permanent full-time role offers hybrid working arrangements with mix of working from home and office. With our offices located nationally we are open to candidates based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane

ABOUT YOU
Coming from a Clinical or Allied Health or Biomedical science background, you’ll be confident in your technical capability to determine dispute outcomes and deliver feedback on your determination to key stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in medical, health or allied health disciplines.
Approachable and practiced in providing specialised advice to diverse parties.
Experience successfully interacting with and influencing stakeholders around Dispute Resolution.
Agile with the ability to work both with the team and individually to achieve shared outcomes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Articulate, with the ability to communicate technical terms/findings in ‘plain English’ to stakeholders and customers.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and sound understanding of claims systems.
Prior CTP Insurance experience and Dispute Resolution is desirable but not essential.
