The Team
The People Data & Analytics team supports the People Division and broader organisation with people reporting and analysis to enable fact-based decisions about our most valuable asset, our people. This is an exciting and challenging role in the emerging field of people analytics and provides an excellent opportunity to advance your core data and analysis skills in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
The Role
In this role, you'll contribute to reporting and insights for the People & Culture Domain, and support transition to strategic state reporting. Ultimately this aims to ensure facts and evidence are being used to supplement experience and intuition to drive more informed people decisions
Your opportunity
You'll have the opportunity to lead and support a variety of deliverables and initiatives, including:
- Working as part of multi-disciplinary squads to scope, design, develop and deliver a range of people reporting products
- Creating and maintaining people related management information (reports and dashboards) for the P&C Domain and leaders across the enterprise
- Providing data and analysis support for key people initiatives and activities
- Sourcing and transforming people data and creating integrated employee datasets
- Communicating insights in simple and engaging ways
- Responding to ad hoc questions and queries as required
- Advising and enabling the ability to self-serve data sourcing and analysis
- Taking accountability for ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Monitoring external trends and identifying opportunities to enhance people analytics tools and methods
- Engaging in knowledge sharing and contributing to the growth and success of the team
What you will bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in people reporting and/or analytics in a corporate environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate insights and new learnings to peers and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in transforming data from source systems into formats for actionable insight
- Knowledge of data principles and methods to manage data sets
- Exposure to data transformation such as Alteryx or Infogix Data3Sixty and visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Experience with some of following tools: SAP HR, Success Factors, Excel, Power BI, Service Now, or other HRIS & data visualisation tools.
- High integrity, respecting highest standards of data privacy and data protection when dealing with sensitive, confidential, and personal information
- An openness to new ways of thinking and working and appetite to learn and solve complex problems
