RINA is an independent global engineering business, specialising in offering consulting engineering services through investment support and technical advisory for the Renewable Energy market. We offer a complete package of services to investors, lenders, IPPs and developers and have worked on many GW's worth of projects across Australasia and wider APAC region.
We are currently looking for a Consultant - Renewables to join our offices in Sydney (Manly) or Melbourne to support our growth in this exciting sector. You will find yourself working on a range of solar, wind and battery energy storage projects including interacting and overlapping with other teams in our renewables business units worldwide. At RINA we work flexibly across borders so you can expect to work on projects in multiple geographies, including occasional travel and client meetings.
The Person
You are a highly professional and energetic candidate ready to deliver technical excellence to match the RINA renewables team ethos. You are an effective technical thinker with sound problem solving skills and a collaborative approach. You are keen to continue developing your skills and to support other team members. As an excellent communicator you have well-developed report writing and presentation skills with acute attention to detail. You thrive on customer engagement and be motivated to build lasting relationships.
Your customer focus and sound technical judgment equip you to achieve your project objectives. You will work well in all scenarios and as a 'self-manager' and take satisfaction from using your initiative and taking accountability. You have a “can-do” attitude and you're excited by the opportunity to work in a relational team environment with a flat management structure and an emphasis on personal responsibility, cooperation and information sharing.
