What you'll be doingThe
Consumer Experience Coordinator provides customer service and administrative support including release of result information, filing and records management, data input for quality reporting, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, and printing and photocopying, to support The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW) Pathology service.Central to all aspects of the role is the promotion and monitoring of positive customer experience working collaboratively, in partnership with patients, carers, caregivers, users of the service and the wider community, to deliver customer service that meets the needs, expectations and preferences of patients, families, carers and users.
Needs to be consistent with the title throughout the PD.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service within a health care setting or other customer service industries.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, proactive, and work autonomously with a high degree of initiative, able to prioritise work demands and achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills with experience in computer software applications and electronic administration systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to complete requirements of the role.
- Understanding of, or capability to learn, electronic Medical Records (eMR) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Proven high level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people confidently and courteously.
