UOM 6 – $96,459 – $104,413 p.a. plus 17% super (pro rata for part time employees)

About the Role

The Content Coordinator will create and curate engaging content for the Department of Rural Health across various platforms, using advanced storytelling techniques. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, this role involves producing content for publications and owned channels, coordinating with external vendors and internal stakeholders, and managing project timelines and deliverables. This role will be based 3 days a week onsite at our Shepparton Campus.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Curate and produce engaging content for use across digital, social and print channels
  • Provide strong creative input, administrative coordination and planning skills across activities including, but not limited to, the development of marketing communications materials both printed and online, photography and video content
  • Support the management and moderation of social media channels to enhance and grow the University’s brand and reputation
  • Coordinate, liaise and interview key stakeholders (internal & external), including students, staff and placement partners, where required in the development of content pieces

Who We Are Looking For
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational and interpersonal abilities, and experience in stakeholder engagement and management. You will be proactive, capable of operating independently, and adept at building and maintaining relationships while managing multiple stakeholders effectively.


You will also have:

  • A degree with relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in communications, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Expertise in the production of targeted, engaging communications for digital, social and print channels
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent track record in executing projects

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
