About the Role:
As an integral member of the Marketing team, your remit will cover the execution of digital marketing initiatives across BEDA's diverse portfolios and channels. Operating under the guidance of the Growth Marketing Manager, you will provide extensive content management support, and through these efforts, you will be a key figure in shaping BEDA's digital presence while effectively promoting the Brisbane region.
A summary of your key responsibilities include:
You will oversee content development in various Content Management Systems (CMS) including WordPress and Sitecore while utilising best practice Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tactics. You will monitor and develop the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, Brisbane Content Toolkit, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to perform regular content auditing, editing, and creation. You will assist internal teams with developing effective digital communications, such as electronic direct mail (EDM).
You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a steady flow of high-quality digital content. Staying up to date with relevant digital content and industry trends is crucial as is contributing to the maintenance of an innovative approach to content delivery. The position requires the analysis of content performance, emphasising a data-driven approach to content management.
About U:
You will possess a genuine passion for promoting Brisbane and be instrumental in contributing to the city's promotional efforts through digital content. You will possess 1-2 years of digital / content marketing experience within a fast-paced environment, with a creative approach and an eye for detail. An excellent understanding of Content Management System (CMS) platforms is essential, with a preference for familiarity with Sitecore, although not essential.
You will be able to demonstrate effective execution of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies and possess hands-on experience utilising Google Analytics to gauge performance. You will be highly organised by nature and be capable of effectively prioritising tasks and working to tight deadlines whilst at times under pressure.
