Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join the Contracts Administration team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in managing contractual aspects of construction and consultant projects within the Big Build program. Your expertise in contract management, dispute resolution, and relationship building will contribute to the successful delivery of critical healthcare infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and resolving performance and contractual issues across the capital program.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of contractor and consultant management frameworks, guidelines, and processes in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Lead efforts to improve relationships and transparency between the Health Capital Division and industry partners.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and adherence to project timelines.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, including dispute resolution and insolvency management.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Proven experience in contract administration, preferably within the construction or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legislative requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
