The Role
As a Contract Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in the successful ongoing management and performance of the Explosive Ordnance Services Contract (EOSC). The Explosive Ordnance Service Contract is a performance based service delivery contract responsible for the storage, distribution and maintenance of Explosive Ordnance (EO) in support of activities undertaken by the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Management of the broader Contract Assurance Framework, including the Performance Management Framework (PMF) and a wide range of additional Contract reporting metrics requiring analysis and distribution.
- Development and implementation of new KPIs and reporting metrics into the Contract Assurance Framework.
- Engagement with the contracted service provider to monitor Contract performance and outcomes required in support of ADF needs.
- Ensure the contracted service provider acts and complies with all National, State and Defence legislation and policies.
- Use of judgement and initiative to resolve issues and risks associated with the delivery of services.
- Attending and representing the Directorate at meetings with an array of stakeholders both ADF and civilian, internal and external to Defence.
- Engagement with key ADF customers and a range of other Defence stakeholders.
About our Team
The Directorate of Logistics – Explosive Ordnance is comprised of four functional areas in support of ADF explosive ordnance storage and distribution: Contract Management, EO Licensing, Facilities Planning and Delivery; and Logistics Capability planning.
In this role, as a Contract Assurance Manager you will lead a small team supporting and reporting to the Deputy Director Explosive Ordnance Storage and Distribution, within the Contract Management area.
