The Traffic Marshal is committed to ensuring that roadway workplaces are safe for the contractors and road users who are working in or passing through these high-risk sites.
TTM is looking to hire someone on a full-time basis as our Contracts Administration and Management Officer. The salary for this position will be $85,000 per annum. The Contracts Administration and Management Officer is responsible for negotiating, executing and ongoing management of contracts for the delivery of traffic management services, as well as adapting contracts to mitigate risks more effectively to the company.
Day to day, the successful candidate will:
- Negotiate contract terms with prospective clients.
- Draft contracts for clients on behalf of the company.
- Ensure contracts are agreed in a timely manner and acceptance of the contract is appropriately recorded.
- Coordinate administration of client contracts that are in force.
- Work with other sections of the business to ensure contractual obligations are discharged.
- Submission of contracts to the appropriate authorities and addressing any queries raised by the authorities and other stakeholders with contracts.
- Document and review contract terms and conditions.
- Prepare reports in relation to issues that arise under existing contracts and conveying contractual issues to senior management where appropriate.
- Perform contract review meetings and provide input to senior management into the ongoing development of contracts used throughout the business.
- Research and resolve contract issues as they arise from time to time.
Contracts Administration and Management Officer requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role – less experience may be acceptable where the candidate has a relevant qualification.
- Experience with accounting procedures.
