Pyramid Constructions (WA) Pty Ltd is a medium size builder located in Applecross WA, specialising in commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential projects. As a result of our professional approach, further growth of our business, and new Design & Construct projects, we require services of experienced and professional project staff to join our busy and progressive organisation.
The position current available position:
- Contracts Administrator (+2yrs experience preferred)
Suitable applicants will need to satisfy the following criteria:
- Successful track record in the delivery of various building projects $5m+
- Strong leadership and motivator of trade teams, non-adversarial approach
- Good communication, interpersonal and self management skills
- Ability to work autonomously with focus on time, budget, safety and quality
- Work under pressure and utilise a high level of initiative
- Sound knowledge of construction methods and building processes
- Effective decision making
- Comprehension of building costs
- Working knowledge of building services
- Ability to tackle issues methodically, practically and thoroughly
- Daily co-ordination & management of site activities
- Forward planning of trade activities
- Co-ordination of documents
- Quality compliance
- Chairing site meetings
- Pro-active to resolve construction & documentation issues
- Handling of site health & safety issues, industrial issues
- Knowledge of current relevant work practices
- Working knowledge of building industry contracts
- Supplier/Subcontractor quotation analysis
- Preparation of scopes of work and supplier/subcontractor packages, including negotiations.
- Progress claim assistance and variations
- Management and tracking of project expenditure, including subcontractor claims and supplier invoices
- Administration of RFIs
- Administration of the OH&S systems
- Administration of Quality systems
- Ability to develop a positive working relationship with client, project team and subcontractors
- Experience with Cheops preferred (not critical)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
