YOUR BIG OPPORTUNITY
This is a newly created role and chance to make your mark!
Amidst our client’s growth in Commercial Projects, they’re looking to enhance their team with a key Contracts Administrator. This role is crucial for aiding their Project Managers in delivering projects successfully and involves managing contracts, advising on obligations, maintaining accurate contract data, and improving processes for better efficiency and support in contract management tasks.
The role:
- Contract Management Support: Assist Project Managers by preparing contract documents, handling variations, and validating claims to streamline project delivery.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all contracts comply with legal and statutory requirements, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed.
- Contract Analysis: Review and analyse complex contracts, assess tender specifications, and suggest amendments for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Financial Control: Work closely with project teams on cost management and forecasting to safeguard financial targets for each project.
- Building Relationships: Develop strong connections with internal and external stakeholders to enhance project results and teamwork.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of precision in managing contracts and all forms of communication.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a seasoned Contracts Administrator with a proven track record in the construction and building sector. You bring experience from working with Tier 1 - 2 builders and possess a deep understanding of project dynamics and lifecycle.
To be successful, you will need:
Professional Expertise:
- Extensive background in contract administration within the building/construction industry and working with tier 1 – 2 builders.
- Strong foundation in project management principles, with relevant qualifications preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in using a variety of IT systems and tools for contract management.
- Tech-savvy with a good command of relevant software.
Communication and Attention to Detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Commitment to high accuracy, attention to detail and meeting deadlines in all tasks.
- Ability to maintain positive and effective relationships in order to drive outcomes.
