Bach Commercial is established and rapidly growing manufacturing and design business in Bayswater, who specialise in Whiteboards, Pinboards & Acoustic treatments to a range of customers including architects, schools, universities, offices, hospitals, commercial builders and more.

Tasks and responsibilities
Contract preparation
- Conduct Tender interviews with Estimator/Account Manager as required
- Review Estimator take offs and marked drawings to assess project scope and accuracy
- Review customer contracts to identify and mitigate contractual risks or errors
- Negotiate client terms and conditions with Account Manager
- Sign and submit the contract to the client once internal processes are completed
Contract in progress
- Review and revise materials ‘take off ‘list to reduce costs where possible
- Procurement of materials and internal work orders in collaboration with Project Managers
- Monitor lead times of in-house products, and external suppliers to ensure project delivery on time
- Monitor stock ‘overs and unders’
- Procurement of subcontract labor in collaboration with Project Managers
- Submission of variation claims where applicable
- Attend site meetings as required and mediate contract disputes
- Process progress claims based on Project Manager’s review of works completed
- Budget management including cash flow, spending and profitability reporting, and entering bills and payments into Buildxact
On project completion
- Review the return of overs materials
- Review and complete Deed of Release with Accounts, and confirm retention amounts withheld by the client. Submit a signed statutory declaration as required
- Complete internal processes and close out the project on Buildxact
- Notify the Marketing Department of potential feature projects for case studies
- Analyse business performance, outcomes, and profit at completion of each project
- Evaluate labour and materials costings to recommend strategies for future improved results
