Contracts Administrator - Bulk Earthworks / Civil

Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Contracts Administrator to join their growing business.
  
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
  
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $40m+.
  
This role is for a potential project which will be based on site about 1hr drive North of Brisbane and 1hr South of Sunshine Coast area.
  
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing Head contracts and agreements
• Manage subcontract mechanisms
• Conduct status reporting, project reports, risk and program reporting
• Assist with Forecasting
• Manage the document control process
• Liaising with all stakeholders
• Support when needed with compliance with management system policies, plans, procedures and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
• 2 to 5+ years’ management experience ideally on civil construction projects.
• Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
