Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive contract management and administration for major projects, coordinating with clients, contractors, and project team members.
- Manage all contractual correspondence, notices, and claims for both primary contracts and subcontractor arrangements.
- Formulate precise contracts based on detailed estimates, budgets, and timeframes.
- Ensure contractor compliance with tender requirements and provide insightful advice as needed.
- Offer robust commercial counsel and leadership within the project team.
- Administer contractual aspects to guarantee project delivery on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal legal teams for effective resolution of contract-related issues.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date internal contract documents.
- Keep all stakeholders informed on contract statuses.
- Proactively manage and mitigate contractual risks, including handling variations, extensions of time, delay and disruption claims, liquidated damages, and provisional sums.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Worked on major projects with asset owners or Tier 1/2 Contractors.
- Strong knowledge of contract principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, aiming for win-win outcomes.
- Comprehensive understanding of infrastructure project delivery workforce requirements.
- Flexibility for ad-hoc travel to project sites.
