On behalf of Monte Construction Pty Ltd a dynamic and innovative construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable solutions based in the Caringbah Sydney, 2229 area, we are conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled Contracts Administrator.
Current Opening:This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Understand and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to ensure contract alignment with project requirements.
- Evaluate bid documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
- Ensure that construction contracts comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Conduct site visits to verify work completion and quality.
- Manage and process change orders when there are modifications to the scope of work.
- Implement procedures for inspecting and testing materials and workmanship.
- Ensure accuracy in payment applications and compliance with contractual terms.
- Verify that contractors maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
- Manage the flow-down of contractual obligations to subcontractors.
- Facilitate project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.
- Handle and manage claims or disputes arising during construction.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate contractor performance.
- Monitor and enforce warranty provisions in construction contracts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in project management or relevant qualifications
- A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex contractual terms clearly and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess contracts, identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Meticulous attention to detail to spot errors, inconsistencies, or potential issues in contracts.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, procurement and project management teams.
Salary:The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $90,000 - $110,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
