AddressTo support the continued growth of the legal department and assist the legal team for the Benelux region, we are now seeking a Contracts Counsel to be located in McKinsey’s Brussels office.
You will work together and liaise with other lawyers, Contracts Counsels and paralegals in Benelux and across Europe in diverse jurisdictions; you will also collaborate with colleagues (Europe and worldwide) outside the legal department (e.g., risk managers, external relations/communications, office and practice leadership, local administrative leaders).
You will draft, review, and negotiate different types of contracts, for example consulting agreements, engagement letters, waiver letters, confidentiality agreements, subcontracting agreements.
You will work closely with consultants on a variety of engagement-related legal matters on a daily basis and provide them with legal advice on a variety of engagement-related legal issues and on internal compliance and risk management topics. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating contractual terms.

- Top academic credentials, law degree and Bar qualification required
- 5+ years of professional experience acquired which must include law firm experience
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English, with the ability to draft and negotiate contracts in all these languages
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work together with internal and external stakeholders at different levels
