Contracts Governance Officer
- Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week
- Salary range $87,804 – 95,045 + Superannuation
- 3.5% award increase from July 2024
The Procurement & Contracts team facilitates Council’s centralised procurement and assists Council’s specialist officers to manage the resulting contracts effectively.

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Contracts Governance Officer. This role is responsible for ensuring contracts are well-managed to realise value for money outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of Councils contract management capability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job-related experience in a relevant field
- Working knowledge of best practice contract management.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in the use of document management and financial management systems.
