AddressHalcyon Knights is seeking a dedicated Governance Officer to join our state government client based in Adelaide CBD.
Pay Rate: $54-56 + Super
Duration: 3-4months commencing first week of July
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Prepare governance secretariat services for Senior strategic governance.
- Manage and facilitate actions, decisions registers, resolutions, and reporting arising from strategic meetings.
- Undertake preparation of reports and briefing notes for governance.
- Provide expert information, advice, templates, and tools to assist areas across the department in preparing effective briefings and reports.
- Handle issues management relating to governance.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Possess board-level secretariat experience.
- Proven experience in a Governance Officer role or similar position.
- Strong report-writing and briefing note preparation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and facilitate strategic meeting outcomes.
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Board-level secretariat experience is essential.
- Must have a current police check
