We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Legal & Commercial team.
About the Role:
The primary purpose of the Contracts Manager role is to provide commercial support and contractual leadership to a growing portfolio of complex and diverse projects across our business streams.
The successful individual for this role will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills. They will be a strong communicator and have the ability to maintain positive and collaborative working relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing key risks and negotiating contractual terms with clients and subcontractors;
- Supporting and training tender and project teams throughout the project lifecycle on contract interpretation and best practice contract management, including developing contract administration tools and templates;
- Preparing and negotiating legal and commercial terms of subcontracts;
- Ensuring project compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company policies and procedures.
About You:
We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Contracts Manager who is looking to be challenged and step into a growing and successful team.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Engineering, Environmental Science, Business or Commerce.
- Diploma or Certificate in Contract Management Administration or Fundamentals or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in a Contracts Management role in a construction/projects environment.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and mitigation skills.
- A professional demeanour and strong relationship-building skills.
